Parasitic fungus is yummy! (Not really)
Here you can see me eating (yes, eating) some of the small, round and orange growths of a parasitic fungus that grows on the trees in Patagonia which is safe to eat. It didn’t really taste bad, but it didn’t really taste good either. Needs salt, pepper and garlic, I think. I would recommend a Chilean Torrontes (and a lot of it!) as a wine paring with this weird fungus.
