This post is for the Fam. Just a few pics from our fantabulous week in Nashville, TN for Lisa & Ed’s wedding at a historical plantation mansion located on the outskirts of Nashville.
Having been on Memorial Day, 2010, it was just after the massive flooding that Nashville suffered, but Lisa got lucky and the venue stayed above water. What a great wedding! We had a pinic in the park downtown for the rehersal dinner, complete with southern style fried chicken, biscuits and all the fixin’s.
Adam officiated the ceremony with grace, style, and a few well timed jokes, having gotten his Reverendship online for the occasion.Family and friends filled in the music and readings selected by Lisa & Ed on the subject of love and partnership.
We also had a chance to experience some of the music, food & fun, of which Nashville has plenty. Well, that which was not recovering from the flood, like the Grand Ole Opry, which was still being cleaned up. We Honkey Tonked, saw singer/songwriters like Michael MacDonald of the Doobie Brothers @ Bluebird Cafe, and had more than our share of down south home cookin
